Mala bracelets have been flying off the shelves lately. People who buy them tell me that they feel a reminder to stay present whenever they look down and see the bracelet on their wrist. I’m particularly touched by a comment of one of my clients: "I love this piece, Susan. The earthy jasper and the fact that it's a mala bracelet make it extra special. I see more purchases in the near future. Thank you!" –Robert
All of the beads for the mala bracelets are chosen with yoga students and teachers in mind. I’m drawn in by the bright colors of Indian saris and by the elements of earth, fire and water.
Every mala is made of sturdy cord to withstand hours of practice on the yoga mat. Own a piece of jewelry that will become a token of inspiration to you.

I created Moondog Treasures out of my desire to merge two of my favorite things: yoga and art. My jewelry includes mala bracelets, thai silver pendants on beaded strands, soldered pieces, stamped pieces, and jewelry made from PMC (precious metal clay).
I'm a vinyasa yoga teacher, and I create jewelry from my home in Highland Village, Texas where I live with my husband, daughter and son. My work is sold online and at yoga studios in the Dallas area. Moondog Treasures' jewelry has been presented at various craft fairs and trunk shows, including Exhale Spa Dallas, Move Studio, and The Art Show at Yoga Island.
Every year during the month of September, Moondog donates 54% of all sales of mala bracelets to charity. She does this in honor of the Global Mala, an incredible annual yoga event that was set into motion in 2007 by Shiva Rea to raise awareness and funds for causes that affect our planet. See www.globalmala.org or www.yogamonth.org for more information.
