Etsy Artist of the Week

This week's artist is Studiotto. I just love these bowls - so delicate! This artist hails from Istanbul. Great work!! Click on the pic below to see more.
From the artist:

• I am a senior student in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (─░stanbul) in Traditional Turkish Handcrafts department, specialized in Ceramic and Traditional Tile Design. During my education I realized that I don’t want to be a designer that works with predetermined ideas so I started my own studio in 2007.

• My design can be seen as a modern approach to traditional Turkish Tile Art. Thanks to my educational background, I have developed a way of expressing my self as a craftsman. I materialize my designs on various forms and kinds of ceramic, tile and porcelain forms that I buy, found or gifted from anytime anywhere. I do both underglaze overglaze handpainting, depending on the material and design itself. All pieces are food safe and are hand washable.
